PERFORMANCE
I started performing again in 2014 after a LONG hiatus.
I’ve made three shows as lead artist / writer / performer as well as performing selectively in other people’s work.
I grew up with music and from 2008-13 played in several bands as a flute player/keyboardist/BVs singer.
After winning a DYCP grant from ACE in 2019 I undertook more performance training in clown, standup, improv, dance and singing.
I had a short-lived but brightly burning standup comedy career as Karima Kay, who blazed across London stages in 2019-early 2020 but was killed off by Covid. RIP Karima.
Since 2019, I’ve been performing in artist, international hair model, writer and performer extraordinaire Kit Green’s The Home in all its iterations, as mouthy activity coordinator, Anita.
